Antibacterial Rooting Hormone!!

This is a formulation that I’ve developed over the last 15 years of growing cacti. 0.5% IBA is the best concentration of IBA I’ve found for rooting cactus cuttings. The 20% sulfur stops fungal and bacterial growth without damaging the plant. Apply this to bottom of a cutting before the cut dries out, and then let it callus over before planting. Ideally you would allow it to form roots first which should take between 1 to 6 weeks.

No Rot

This is the same formula without the IBA rooting hormone. I use it to apply to the top of a cutting that is exposed in the air or to any other wound to a cactus to stop fungal and bacterial growth. It helps the wound heal without infections.
